RoundTurn Knot Coach Privacy

A short, plain policy for an offline rope-skills coach. Practice stays on your device—no accounts, no ad networks, no telemetry dashboards.

RoundTurn Knot Coach does not collect personal data. Knot progress, drill scores, pack completion, and speech-cue preferences remain on your iPhone or iPad via on-device storage (SwiftData). There is no sign-in and no cloud profile.

What stays on device

Scenario progress, dress-and-set results, and timed-recall scores
Practice-pack warm-up and final-drill state
Optional on-device speech-cue settings
Widget configuration for Knot of the Day (handled by iOS on device)
Crew-card PDF created locally and shared only when you use the system share sheet

What we do not do

No third-party analytics SDKs
No advertising networks or tracking pixels
No account system, email harvest, or remote user profiles
No sale or brokerage of personal information
No automatic upload of drill history or location

Network use

The app is built for offline practice. Core coaching, diagrams, packs, and widgets do not require a network connection. If you contact support by email, that conversation happens through your own mail provider—not inside an in-app telemetry channel.

Children & outdoor-ed

The product is aimed at ages 10+ in scout, crew, and outdoor-ed contexts. Because RoundTurn Knot Coach does not collect personal data, we do not build behavioral profiles of students or trainees. Instructors should still follow their organization’s device policies.
